What made it to DMA’s Top 20 in 2015
Content is King – well, at least on the most read list of Digital Market Asia, it surely is. With the ad blocking debate raging this year, what readers were looking for most on DMA was how to create engaging content and hold the consumer’s attention. Articles on content marketing trends and tips dominated our list.
Another trend we noticed on the most read list was how important social is becoming for advertisers as they move beyond just paid social advertising and how ‘storytelling’ drives the focus on social media campaigns. Facebook with its increasing number of tools has been putting importance on the focus on how brands need to focus on – wait for it – ‘engaging content‘. So we can safely say, 2015 has been the year when content rose to prominence.
