More Turkey Stuffing and Mobile Sales Please 300x267 More Turkey, Stuffing and Mobile Sales, PleaseAccording to new research from Adobe, mobile sales on Thanksgiving day this year are expected to increase to 31%, up a whopping 10% from last year, and will reach approximately $418 million.

Adobe just released their 2014 Holiday Shopping Prediction report and it’s chock-full of information on their predictions for this year’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday, as well as for Thanksgiving Day itself.

Remarkably, Black Friday will see 26% of shoppers doing that shopping from their mobile devices.

If Adobe’s prognostications are proven correct, online purchases will actually be higher on Black Friday than on Cyber Monday. If you think that’s hard to believe, try this one on for size — in the next year or two, Black Friday will actually bypass Cyber Monday and become the biggest online shopping day of the year.

Another interesting bit of information from Adobe’s report is that, with the ever-growing size of smart phones, tablet sales are predicted to be down almost 15% this year. That’s right. This year during the holiday shopping madness, smartphones will rule the roost. It seems that people enjoy being able to shop with their smartphones and, with bigger screens and the actual ability to make a phone call, tablet sales are taking a big hit.

So, if you’re a fan of Turkey, gravy, stuffing and searching online for holiday deals on your mobile phone, 2014 looks to be a banner year.
