Flipkart’s Ravi Vora steps down as CEO of Strategic Brands
Ravi Vora has stepped down as the Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Brands Group at Flipkart. Prior his appoint as the CEO of Strategic Brands, Mr Vora was working as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at the ecommerce platform from April 2012 until December 2014.
Mr Vora shares a four-year stint with Flipkart where he was key in building the marketing operations for the ecommerce baron in India. As the CEO of Strategic Brands, he was responsible for growing multiple brands across categories through strategic partnerships.
At Flipkart, he set up the marketing team with experts across domains of brand marketing, mobile, SEM, SEO, social media, email and affiliate marketing. Prior Flipkart, he worked as Marketing Manager at HJ Heinz, Associate General Manager at Olam International and also held several managerial positions at Hindustan Unilever.
