FCB HK appoints Christopher Chan as Creative Director

FCB has appointed Christopher Chan as Creative Director for FCB Hong Kong. Mr Chan has more than 12 years of advertising experience with an exceptional track record in digital and integrated marketing capabilities. In his role, he will provide leadership to define the creative vision and strategy for Prudential and other clients in Hong Kong, and will also be responsible for innovating and integrating more technology into the agency’s creative work.

Mr Chan’s big break in advertising first came at Eight Partnership first as a copywriter and then as Associate Creative Director, where he turned a little-known agency into a multiple award winning hotshop in Hong Kong. Notable work included Nokia’s wildly viral internet film ‘MC Farmer’ which was featured in Cannes Lions 2008. Stints at McCann Worldgroup and Alchemy Asia saw him handle blue-chip accounts like Coca Cola, Nestle, AIA International, DirectAsia.com, The Economist.

Before Joining FCB, he is Creative Director at JWT, handling account like HSBC. He is also a visiting lecturer at the School of Design in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he teaches digital advertising.
