Data pick of the day: 59% of FB’s active users visit it more than once a day

Facebook can boast the most engaged membership base. Around 59 per cent of its active users say that they typically log on more than once a day – a figure which is significantly ahead of the equivalents for the other networks, underlining Facebook’s enduring reach.

Arguably, though, perhaps the most significant trend is that about a third of active users on the other four key platforms are also frequent visitors. This confirms the ubiquity of social networking within the daily lives of many as well as the reality that people are now connecting via multiple devices throughout the day.
