Ashish Bhasin to chair India’s Most Like’d Brands Jury
Digital Market Asia will host its novel initiative India’s Most Like’d Brands’ jury meet on the 6th of January in Mumbai. India’s Most Like’d looks to acknowledge brands, whose marketing and communication initiatives stood out on digital platforms in the year gone.
The Jury will be chaired by Ashish Bhasin, Chairman and CEO South Asia – Dentsu Aegis Network Chairman, Posterscope and psLIVE – Asia Pacific. Mr Bhasin has spent an extensive 28 years in the agency business where almost two-thirds of his career have been on the creative side of the advertising business.
The names of the jury members include the likes of Arnab Mitra, Managing Director and Co-Founder, LIQVD Asia; Girish Shah, Chief Marketing Officer, Godrej Properties; Juzer Tambawalla, Vice President and Head Marketing, Franklin Templeton; KV Sridhar, Chief Creative Officer, SapientNitro; Shamsuddin Jasani, Managing Director, ISOBAR India; Sunita Bangard, President Marketing, Idea Cellular, and Veetika Deoras, Chief Operating Officer, Digital Vertical and Vice President, Brand Marketing and Corporate Communication, Tata Capital.
Being the first edition of India’s Most Like’d Brands, the objective is to identify the top brands, in a jury-led process, that have utilised digital platforms in clutter breaking and effective ways, which will then be presented in a special publication.
Digital continues to be the fastest growing slice of the Indian advertising pie. Currently estimated at INR 4661 crore, digital ad spends are growing at almost 100 per cent year-on-year. This makes the Indian digital eco-system the most dynamic and fastest growing in the world.
