A look back at 2016’s top 15 acquisitions

2016 was a big year for advertising technology company acquisitions and agency collaborations. Adobe had a busy year as it acquired ad tech firm TubeMogul and content curation website Livefyre in one year. Of all the agencies, Dentsu Aegis Network had the busiest year in the region as the company went shopping for a few companies in India, Australia and China.

A trend that Digital Market Asia noticed was that ad tech and ecommerce companies were in demand while agencies looked to up their integrated media capabilities in 2016.
