Ahead of global media review, Unilever consolidates search biz with Resolution
Unilever has consolidated its search engine marketing and search engine optimisation duties with Omnicom’s Resolution Media following a pitch process. Resolution will work with sibling Omnicom Media Group agency PHD to service the mandate. PHD handles global media communications planning for Unilever.
So far, much of Unilever’s search mandate was handled by WPP agencies. While the move comes at a time when Unilever is in the process of a global media review, Unilever officials stated that the company analysed the search marketing requirements “quite separately” and ahead of the media review.
