Punitha Arumugam quits as Director-Agency Business at Google India
Punitha Arumugam has quit as Director of Agency Business at Google India after sharing a over two-year stint with the technology giant. “Google has been an amazing company to work for and a great learning trajectory for me personally and professionally,” she said confirming the news.

Ms Arumugam has declined to comment on her future plans and said “I am on a long planned break as of now from Dec 1 and will decided next steps after the break.” But she will return to marketing and agency business after the break.
Prior to Google India, the media veteran has served as Group Chief Executive Officer at Madison Media. She worked as Director of media services at Madison from 1999 and then as Chief Operating Officer from 2001. Her 15 years of experience in the media industry also includes several agencies like Ogilvy & Mather and Initiative Media.
