Vaseline Women Indonesia assigns digital mandate to Ogilvy

Ogilvy & Mather Indonesia has been appointed the digital marketing business for Vaseline Women in Indonesia. The agency won a competitive, three-way pitch for the new Unilever business, with cutting-edge strategy and creativity far surpassing industry standards.

Ogilvy was awarded the brief as a result of demonstrated strengths, particularly in digital insights and intelligence, as well as creative talent and capabilities.

William Wijanarko, Brand Manager, Vaseline commented, “OgilvyOne has demonstrated strong knowledge on the Indonesian market and its consumers. This, combined with their world-class creativity and technical skills in digital, will be an excellent turbocharger to the brand’s already remarkable presence.”

This latest win builds on the agency’s relationship with Unilever in Indonesia. In 2013, OgilvyOne won a digital and social remit for Axe, including the brand’s global ‘Apollo’ campaign. Prior to this, OgilvyOne was awarded work for Ponds, Rinso, Buavita and Lipton.

“We are excited to be working with Vaseline in Indonesia, one of the world’s most rapidly growing markets, and to be continuing our wonderful relationship with Unilever – a brave, creative partner,” added Katryna Mojica, CEO, Ogilvy & Mather Indonesia.
