According to new data from the IAB, Internet ad revenues are now at all-time highs. Revenues touched a “landmark” $20.1 billion level during the first six months of 2013. The information was published Wednesday in the IAB’s Internet Advertising Revenue Report.
With the holiday shopping season fast approaching, it’s a great time of year to introduce new mobile marketing solutions for retailers large and small. To that end, GPShopper has just announced “Beacons,” an innovative way to engage consumers with an in-store retail experience.
Hang on to your hats. If you were expecting big growth in the mobile ad arena, big growth is what you’re poised to get over the next five years. According to projections put forward in a new report, the Cross-Platform and Mobile Advertising Market is estimated to grow from $15.13 billion in 2013 to $76.57 billion in 2018.
When it comes to mobile ad spend today, one group is leading the pack – consumer goods companies. The IAB UK reports that this particular category of companies has emerged as the biggest of all the big spenders on mobile advertising.
U.K.’s Mobile Marketing Magazine is out with a new report presenting an eye-opening look at the growth of mobile ad spend in the United Kingdom. The latest data indicates that U.K. mobile advertising spend grew by 127 percent year-on-year, reaching £429.2m in the first half of 2013.
