E-shopping

E-shopping is huge World-wide, but I still haven’t seen an e-shop that really provides you with the same feel of shopping as you get in real life… For a long time it has been possible to do 360 degrees spin-arounds of products etc. But today I saw two new great ways of presenting and selling your products – so if you want to be inspired, have a look at these two examples:

This H&M mini-site presents and sells its Spring Summer Collection. It looks like a neverending catwalk, where users can change the models’ outfit just with a click. The intteresting part is however the collection connection with Facebook. You can actually comment each single outfit on the social network just like you do with your friends’ photos – a very simple feature, that taps into how the target group consumes media…

The other example is from Japan. Hoop is a multi-brand online store that is trying to replicate digitally the gestures of offline shopping. You browse the racks like you would do in brick & mortar store, and when you decide to purchase something you simply drag and drop it from one rack to another.
