Cadreon hires Kenneth Wong as GM for Malaysia
Cadreon, the programmatic adtech unit of IPG Mediabrands, has appointed Kenneth Wong as General Manager, Cadreon Malaysia.
Based in KL Malaysia, Mr Wong will be responsible for the operations and product development of Cadreon Malaysia which also services Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, South Korea and Vietnam. This appointment is part of IPG Mediabrands’ on-going effort in harnessing notable talent to join the network, contributing to the building of a best-in-class suite of programmatic solutions and services to meet the growing demand of clients in Asia Pacific. Mr Wong’s role is also instrumental in ensuring seamless operationalisation and ongoing enhancement of Cadreon’s proprietary programmatic platform Unity, including regular active evaluation of relevant adtech and data partners for integration into the Unity ecosystem.
Mr Wong was previously Head of Digital at Carat Media Services. A seasoned marketer, he comes with a wealth of experience in the digital space, incorporating both agency and client perspectives. His last 14 years in the industry have seen him work across a multitude of clients including Air Asia, Mondelez, Panasonic, IKEA and Standard Chartered Bank. With his previous digital roles in CIMB and Celcom, he was also the recipient of three consecutive Effie awards.
Mr Wong held the position of President for the Malaysian Digital Association (MDA) from 2014 to 2016, and continues to actively support the MDA in digital publishing and advertising matters. Kenneth reports to Yean Cheong, Head of Programmatic Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.
